早前有網頁搞1000套我最喜愛的電影投票選舉，我選的25套共有21套上榜，也算是和大眾影迷相近吧。而沒有上榜的四套之中，《誘心人》肯定是被低估了；《無主之作》看過的人可能不多所以不意外；《薄荷糖》近年有修復版，過多數年的投票應該榜上有名吧；《二十四隻眼睛》無份最為可惜。

另，榜上三十大都看過（除了Come and See)，《花樣年華》能躋身第8實在過譽；12、13兩套也排得太高了吧。

去年，昆汀塔倫提諾證實將第 9 號導演作品《從前，有個好萊塢》改編成書籍；今年年中，此書籍已經出版，昆汀目前正積極宣傳新書，在各節目中揭秘《從前，有個好萊塢》的相關幕後，其中包含原先屬意珍妮佛勞倫斯飾演達柯塔芬妮的角色；克里夫布茲的殺妻之謎等等，但最引人關注的，還是重新點燃的「李小龍」爭議。
　
2019 年 7 月，《從前，有個好萊塢》盛大上映之時，李小龍的女兒李香凝就曾表態昆汀醜化李小龍，李香凝不滿昆汀塔將李小龍描繪成「脾氣暴躁」、「傲慢惹是非」的混蛋，對此大嘆「令人沮喪」。李香凝進一步說，身為 60 年代的亞裔美國人，李小龍需要非常勤奮的工作，付出比李奧納多、布萊德彼特飾演的白人角色更多努力，才有機會被看見。李小龍經常遇到挑戰和挑釁，但總是試著避免打架。在電影看到別人嘲笑我的父親，非常不舒服。
　
近日，昆汀則提及能理解李香凝的不滿（畢竟是她爸），但要其餘質疑此橋段的人「Suck a Dick」，聲稱是根據史實創造角色，同時說明當時許多特技演員都不喜歡李小龍，並解釋這場戲的意義。
　
昆汀的言論引起各界譁然，李香凝則於《好萊塢報導者》撰文回應，文章先是質疑昆汀根本不熟李小龍，而後強調受夠由好萊塢白人定義李小龍，因為他們總是將李小龍的自信、熱情曲解為傲慢自大，最後大聲疾呼希望昆汀別再評論評論李小龍。
　
從影像到文字，「李小龍」的幽魂似乎註定要在口水戰中跟著《從前，有個好萊塢》。然而，撇開李小龍的相關爭議，我個人非常喜歡《從前，有個好萊塢》，也藉此機會貼出舊評，提供讀者參考。此作目前也能在各大串流平台觀賞，會是防疫居家看片的好選擇。
　
🎬以下為《從前，有個好萊塢》評論：
　
《從前，有個好萊塢》充滿昆汀塔倫提諾的作者印記，熟稔昆汀的影迷，能在此作中發現許多昆汀的風格元素，並找到極大樂趣，武術、戀足癖、義大利西部片、美國老式 B 級片、非線性敘事手法、《惡棍特工》中火焰槍的惡趣味（將曼森視作納粹）等等。片名《Once Upon a Time In Hollywood》[1]更揭示了全片在寫實中充滿想像空間（與時間）的童話故事性（呼應充滿逆轉性的結尾），令人感受到昆汀對於曼森家族血案的浪漫憧憬，並帶著觀眾想像世界的未來能有一點不一樣。
　
要理解《從前，有個好萊塢》，得先從「時代」切入：此作背景設定於 1969 年。回望 1960 年代，美國社會經歷著諸多動盪導致人心惶惶：越南戰爭越演越烈；總統甘迺迪遇刺後，政治謀殺案一起接一起；「女權」主義興起；「黑人」運動高漲，對抗傳統價值與反社會主流的「嬉皮」文化於焉而成。
　
而在 1969 年 8 月 9 日，在不安的社會氛圍下，爆發了曼森家族對當紅女星莎朗蒂的謀殺案。當時莎朗蒂懷著 8 個月身孕，名導老公羅曼波蘭斯基則因拍片外出逃過死劫，此案震驚全美，當時的昆汀年僅 6 歲。
　
另一方面，在動盪的時代下，影視產業也存著極大矛盾，「電視」與「電影」間的競爭與對抗，讓許多片廠遭遇危機，電視機的普及也間接造成戲院的觀影人次下滑、營銷虧損，而且上游到下游「垂直整合式」的片廠制度早在此前瓦解；1960 年代末，一批新的創作者轉向更為私密的體制外創作，《我倆沒有明天》（1967）、《逍遙騎士》（1969）等挑戰美國正面形象的悲劇性電影逐漸出現，充滿疑惑、叛逆、徬徨、存在主義式的無政府主義者，取代美帝傳統英雄。
　
美國神話和傳統價值不復以往，勾勒出 1969 年好萊塢舊時代的疲軟，和反文化運動的興起，昆汀就是在這樣的時代背景下，書寫《從前，有個好萊塢》。
　
而昆汀與工作團隊極盡可能地還原這時代的好萊塢，街景採用霓虹、老式招牌；服裝則有嬉皮、西部牛仔、短裙長靴；音樂則能聽見 The Mamas & The Papas 的〈Straight Shooter〉、Los Bravos 的〈Bring A Little Lovin〉、Roy Head & The Traits 的〈Treat Her Right〉、Deep Purple 的〈Hush〉、〈Kentucky Woman〉等金曲。
　
此外，開場便能看見昆汀對於舊時代「膠卷底片」的著迷，可以發現「柯達 35mm」的影像質地，也能見到以「Super 8」和「16mm」拍攝的黑白影像，還有將李奧納多迪卡皮歐飾演的瑞克道爾頓塞進當時的各式知名影集；當然，更能看見特地重製 CBS 的知名西部電視劇《Lancer》（1968-1970）。透過這幾場戲傳遞出復古與現代的衝突與和諧，更讓昆汀的角色能活在這些影像中，別具意義。
　
角色的描繪上，昆汀創造出立體鮮明的雙人組合：李奧納多和布萊德彼特這對搭擋，有著與《虎豹小霸王》（1969）的保羅紐曼和勞勃瑞福相似的魅力與默契（片中也提及了日舞，勞勃瑞福的角色名稱）。此外，片中瑞克道爾頓演藝生涯的發展軌跡，似乎也與克林伊斯威特一樣。克林伊斯威特 1950 年代演出電視劇、1960 年代演出義大利導演沙吉奧李昂執導的「鑣客三部曲」，在大銀幕走紅；而沙吉奧李昂正是《狂沙十萬里》的導演。
　
照著這些歷史軌跡走，或許也可稍微洞見昆汀筆下的瑞克，未來會有何種發展。昆汀在瑞克與小女孩等待上戲的空擋一段中，呈現出瑞克在好萊塢新舊時代交替下，被迫從舊時代走進新電影的心理狀態，這些都是值得注意的細節。
　
昆汀也巧妙地利用李奧納多迪卡皮歐、布萊德彼特和瑪格羅比的居住地，製造出社會階層的上下關係，同時點出好萊塢產業鍊的上與下，甚至設計了布萊德彼特開車回下層的橋段，也靠著這場戲帶出鍾愛的洛杉磯往日風情。《從前，有個好萊塢》中的地域性對比，有著和《寄生上流》異曲同工的出色之處，這 3 個角色更有著昆汀對好萊塢「未來」、「現在」、「過去」的投射意涵。
　
當紅的莎朗蒂象徵好萊塢日後的光景；處在新舊時代夾縫中的瑞克代表了 1969 年影視產業的轉型；逐漸沒工作的替身克里夫布茲則是已經沒落遠去的好萊塢（所以倒閉的片場讓克里夫探視）。從這些側寫能望見昆汀在角色編寫的用心，電影前兩小時僅在 2 天的時間軸上進行，但這 2 天的資訊量已經豐富多變，在日常細節中說故事的電影，更顯見創作者的編導功力。
　
昆汀在舊好萊塢的致敬中找到新意，貼近老靈魂並賦予想像力，《從前，有個好萊塢》是一幅以懷舊為水墨潑灑而成的新畫作，昆汀大膽、奔放且柔情地獻給每位觀眾。如果說，艾方索柯朗敦厚、內斂地在 1970 年有《羅馬》和墨西哥城，那昆汀塔倫提諾則是絢爛、奔放地在 1969 年有《從前，有個好萊塢》和洛杉磯。
　
全片最令人感動的戲，私以為是由瑪格羅比飾演的莎朗泰在戲院與《勇破迷魂陣》（1968）合照。眾所皆知，這是莎朗泰被曼森家族謀殺前上映的最後一部電影（遺作《12+1》於死後上映）。昆汀大費周章地將莎朗泰進戲院觀影的戲完整拍出，讓片尾屠殺曼森家族逆轉歷史的結局格外動人，流露出昆汀對於莎朗蒂的不捨之情，也能看見類似《決殺令》、《惡棍特工》中濃厚的復仇主義。
　
如果從 2019 年坎城主競賽來看，西班牙名導阿莫多瓦藉由《痛苦與榮耀》，與過去的自己和解，用電影找到救贖之藥；昆汀塔倫提諾則藉由《從前，有個好萊塢》，與過往記憶共存，用電影讓私自的美好想像延續。
　
最後，在昆汀精雕細鑿的世界中，或許，瑞克道爾頓能與莎朗泰成為好友；或許，瑞克就能如願演出羅曼波蘭斯基的電影重振演藝事業（開頭即描述瑞克渴望與波蘭斯基合作）；或許，歷史就能重新書寫。
　
至於一切的甜美，都活在昆汀塔倫提諾的電影夢中，永存在昆汀這封親筆寫給好萊塢的老派情書。《從前，有個好萊塢》是年近 60 的昆汀最溫柔、最成熟、最熱情同時最私密的作品，這是昆汀塔倫提諾的童年往事。

Video Title: The Mysterious Chinese Art Heists Across Europe

"Stockholm, Sweden. 2010. Passersby on the streets of the capital were confused and scared. Several cars in and around the vicinity had lit up in flames, and no one had any idea why. Police soon arrived on scene but they too were baffled with what they saw. Now, several kilometers to the west, on the outskirts of the city, a small group of masked men made their way across the grounds of the Drottningholm Palace (the private residence of the Swedish Royal Family, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site). Their target was the royal pavilion situated in the southern part of the complex, which displayed countless works of historic art. Once there, the men forced their way in through the backdoors, and went right to work. They smashed the protective display cases, and grabbed whatever items they wanted. This immediately set off the alarm system, which alerted the Swedish police. Now, despite the alarm, the robbers remained calm, because they knew exactly where the police were. The burning cars were in fact a distraction for them set up by the robbers, and they had fallen right into the trap. Still, the police raced towards the crime scene, but by the time they reached the royal pavilion, the place was empty (the robbers were in and out in less than six minutes). Upon inspection, sculptures, chalices, plates and teapots - all invaluable items - were now missing from the permanent state collection of art and antiquities; and this wasn’t just a huge economic loss, but a cultural one as well. It was later found out that after fleeing the pavilion on mopeds, the robbers made their way to a nearby lake where they were then picked up by a white speedboat. Though from this point, the trail went cold...
